like few things ever did. It's about love like nothing else. Love for
others, love for life, it's about unity, purpose and truly making a difference. The impact has been huge already and can be even bigger. If we
all unite and step in whatever way we can. I invite you to watch the heartbreaking-turning-very-inspirational-video I just watched (click the image below) and you'll see what I mean. Real and substantial change <i><b>is </b></i>possible. <br />

It reflects perfectly what I think life is about, what anything should be about, but too often is viewed upon in similar ways Zach describes. Love is all that matters and is almost always behind the issue people fear the most when looking at something they don't know.<br />
<br />
it warms my heart to hear someone speak about it so clearly and eloquently again. Something I hope will happen more and more often. May it become clear once more that love is what we're all seeking and should never be mistaken for something else, out of fear for the unknown.<br />

despite what seems to be the only thing around, there's much love in the world. I've always seen the world as a beautiful place and one where there's much more love than there is hate. You 'just' have to look beyond the surface that might suggest the opposite. Our beautiful planet is filled with people who live with their hearts instead of from fear and worry. There are countless, but here are 10 examples of what that looks like, it will warm you heart, enjoy!</div>

I was told by someone it was really powerful and worth seeing and it is. It's about how men in American society <i>(but applies to men worldwide I think to different degrees)</i> are being raised and influenced and how this effects everything in profound ways, for them and the world we live in. Although much of it was not new to me, some stuff is and seeing it all together is telling a powerful and sometimes heartbreaking story. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/hc45-ptHMxo/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hc45-ptHMxo?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><span style="color: #cccccc;">Trailer</span> </i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
it touched me in so many ways and it makes so much sense that things are the way they are <i>(not meaning we should accept them!)</i>. A few words I'd use to describe this documentary are impressive, confronting, painful and beautiful. I also find it very hopeful to see change is really happening through truly strong and amazing men standing in their essence and true power. We may have a long way to go to see big changes on a global scale, but the change <b><i>is</i></b> happening. Which I think is saying a lot after centuries and centuries of repeated patterns and destructive cycles of excessive male toughness, violence and the denial of too many essential and beautiful aspects in men. It moved me to tears to see that change.<br />
<br />
let's do what we can towards our men and boys to add to that, with compassion and a willingness to see beyond the masks. And love of course. After all, who doesn't deserve or need love, compassion, understanding and safety to express emotions? We all do, regardless of whatever gender we identify with!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
so the name of the documentary is 'The mask you live in" by <a href="http://therepresentationproject.org/" target="_blank">The Representation Project</a> and can be found on Netflix.<br />
<br />
much love, MoniqueFabulously Smallhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02900803753608126554noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143139039560619168.post-8497051948478904752017-03-08T08:11:00.000-08:002018-02-11T01:10:08.121-08:00'real love is the strongest stuff in the Universe'I remembered a speech of Anthony ("Van") Jones at the Woman's March on the 21st of January this year that really touched me then and would like to share with you here.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe width="320" height="266" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/hs3_DiTIzIM/0.jpg" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hs3_DiTIzIM?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
what I think makes his speech very powerful is him being critical about <i>everyone</i> regarding love, so not just opposers of his/their ideas. He recognizes the necessity for us to look at ourselves and to practice what we preach. So not to express hate or intolerance towards anyone who doesn't share our views while proclaiming love. As happens too often in my opinion too, and of which I've been guilty in the past also.<br />
<br />
only love can unite both or any sides and I think it's also always good to remember that from anyones perspective his/her truth is 'the' truth. Meaning 'the' truth doesn't exist. The beauty of love is that it doesn't care about truth or being right, it only cares about spreading itself.<br />
<br />
from his speech:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><i>"with every breakdown, a breakthrough is possible"</i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><i>"when you have a movement of that kind of love [mama bear love], you can talk to both sides of the isle"</i></span></div>
<br />
<br />
he, the Dream Corps and thousands of others are building a <a href="http://www.lovearmy.org/" target="_blank">LoveArmy</a> for America. Which I think is a beautiful thing and will benefit and inspire the rest of the world.<br />
<br />

Although we have different ideas on what it looks like, don't we all live, love, laugh, want a good life for ourselves and the people we love, have any degree of insecurities, know or have known fear, grief over loss etc., wherever we are from or what our life-choices are? <br />
<br />
long story short: we share so much! A beautiful illustration of this is this powerful video I came across today from a Danish televisionnetwork <i>(based on a well known concept known as Challenge Day that's been part of American and Canadian schools for around 20 years now) </i>you can easily transfer it to our worldpopulation:<br />

loving what we share <span class="st">❤</span>, MoniqueFabulously Smallhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02900803753608126554noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143139039560619168.post-33557844258928872512017-01-30T07:09:00.002-08:002017-03-26T02:51:38.568-07:00welcome!<div style="text-align: center;">
welcome to this website, a place I created as a reminder to us that we as human beings are - above anything else - a loving and powerful species. Something I felt an urge to throw out there as a reaction to what's going on in the world.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: large;">"where there is love, there is no imposition"</span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: large;">- Albert Einstein -</span> </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
not just because of recent developments, </div>
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: center;">
because countless small and large heartbreaking things have happened in all of my life that left me, as so many others, speechless from horror and disbelief. And compassion with everyone who received whatever kind of injustice done to them by another person or persons.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
recent events did inspire me however to think of something to do more than what I was already doing, as a reaction to the negativity and fear a lot of people are expressing, hurting others. Adding only extra problems and unwanted situations to what we already have, not solving any of them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
it's still not much due to circumstances and very limited possibilities, but anything is something and can make a difference right? Even if just to inspire one person or a few, who can maybe do something that is actually making a difference. My hope is to add something - even if just the positive energy it generates - that I can do to all the good and positive in the world. Of which there is an abundance and growing, but there's always room and a need for more. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">when there's enough love, fear & hate simply cannot exist</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I believe like many others that love is powerful, very powerful. Although for the longest time I thought something abstract like love could never make that much of a difference. But it can and does, all the time. And isn't it love that ignites all kinds of amazing things? It's the love for the environment that make people improve it, it was the love for other human beings that made an end to (some forms of) slavery, it is the love for animals that changes laws about cruelty against them etc. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">it's the love for life, people and believes that sometimes even make us tap into superpowers and make miracles happen</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
let's spread and expand the love in and for everyone in this beautiful world in all ways possible and that way make a change<br />
<br />
Much love, Monique </div>
